What does the Attention Test measure?
Sustained visual attention — the ability to quickly and accurately scan for a target or spot a small difference — shows up constantly in everyday tasks like proofreading, driving, or checking a spreadsheet for errors. This test samples two flavors of that skill: scanning a row for an outlier, and matching fine details in text or numbers.
How scores are calculated
Your accuracy on each question type is combined into an overall score and a two-category breakdown. We also show your average time per question as a rough speed indicator, though accuracy — not raw speed — drives the score itself.
Should I rush through the questions?
No — accuracy is what's scored. Go at a natural, comfortable pace; the timer is there for interest, not pressure.
