What does the Logic Test measure?
This test focuses on formal reasoning skills rather than general knowledge: can you correctly determine what follows from a set of statements, and — just as importantly — can you avoid concluding things that only sound valid? Many questions are deliberately built around common reasoning traps, like assuming a conditional works in reverse.
How scores are calculated
Each question is tagged as deductive, conditional, or relational reasoning. Your results page shows a breakdown across all three, plus an overall percentage score, so you can see exactly where your reasoning is strongest.
Is this the same as a formal logic course?
No — it's a shorter, practical sampler of reasoning patterns, built for entertainment and self-exploration rather than academic assessment.
Why do some questions say "cannot be determined"?
Several questions test whether you can tell the difference between a valid conclusion and a common invalid one (like assuming a conditional statement works in both directions). Recognizing when you can't conclude something is itself a reasoning skill.
